Diving Courses
Salty Anchor Dive company hosts some of the best dive instructors in the Northeast Florida area. We offer courses through NAUI, IANTD and DAN.
As part of our philosophy we believe that the best instruction cannot be delivered to large groups, however it is also best if you have a teammate, so we do our best to keep classes to less than 4 students. We don't sugar coat things here at Salty Anchor Dive Company, some our classes may cost more than area competition, It's because we focus on quality over quantity, we spend more time in the water, and we teach in neutral buoyancy...simply put we spend more time with you the paying customer. Unlike other others we do not just hand out certification cards, we follow the loved one concept, we won't certify you if we would not trust you to dive with someone we love. All of our classes are scheduled on demand, so don't hesitate to reach out.

SCUBA COURSES
Open Water Scuba Diver ( Autonomous- ISO Level 2)
This is our entry-level scuba certification course. Learn the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to scuba dive independently. This is essentially your license to learn!!
Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver
This continuing education course for certified divers from any agency. It is an enjoyable program of continued supervised experience designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities and to be taught entirely in an open water setting. Its entire purpose is to build experience and try new things under the supervision of an instructor. This course requires a minimum of six dives to be completed, expect to do more than this! Out of those six dives, we will do at least one navigation dive, one night or low visibility dive, one deep dive and two boat dives in the ocean. We don't do "Springs only" advanced courses.

We require that you be certified in the use of a drysuit prior to this course, you will be expected to provide your own. Since Florida is flat as a pancake this is a remote course, our training site is in Idaho, because so much travel is involved it is only typically offered once or twice a year and is only recommended for divers with extensive experience.
